GET INVOLVED
We need lots of local people to join in with the preparations, we are looking to re-create some of that community spirit that helped this country through tough times and gave us what we have today. Do you like making things with paper, textiles, can you make signs for us? There is a lot to do and many hands make light work. It would be great if we can recycle materials too - 'waste not, want not' !! If you can spare an hour or 2, or a day or so, then please call or email us to see what needs doing and where you can help us :D
MAKING THINGS
The best form of advertising is 'word of mouth', so can you help us spread the word? Have a look around this site and our facebook page, call us and email us so you feel you know what's going on, then maybe you can simply tell everyone you meet about this event, by the community for the community, powered by the passion of local people and volunteers.

SPREAD THE WORD
There are lots of different ways you can help - we need individuals and groups to help us with organising living history scenes, updating whats on websites, collecting and delivering things, (lots of odd jobs!), visiting people and groups and businesses with what they are doing to help us and support us, putting up posters, delivering leaflets, taking bookings for the Dinner Dance, sorting bookings for stands and stalls etc., if you would like to be involved in something truly memorable and are proud of your town, then please call or email us, we NEED to meet you!
