Yesteryear Cinema 

 

Local cinema enthusiast, who as a young boy worked in cinemas many moons ago, has agreed to show a special selection from his vast stock of original celluloid films, including Gaumont British News, Laurel & Hardy and the piece de resistance - adverts!!  Obviously the films will be shown from an original projector from the era, which will be on full view for you to admire!

 

The cinema will be located in 'De Burnay's School of Dance', The Old Court House, Exchange Street, Retford, less than 2 mins walk from the Chancery Lane entrance to the Park.

 

There will be three 43-minute-long performances on Saturday, and three on Sunday.

 

Performance times:  

Saturday -     1pm,  2pm  and 3pm

Sunday -       1pm,  2pm, and 3pm

 

Admission - free - but if you enjoy the experience, please give generously to the cinematographer's chosen charity; Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.  Thank you.
